Carbon Poker Caribbean Stud
Carbon Poker is a popular site with Caribbean Stud Players. Here they offer two different tables which are a $1 min / $100 max table with an optional 20 cent progressive bet and a $5 min / $500 max table with an optional $1.00 progressive bet. These jackpots can get quite large often mix five figure to low six figure. Even at times the 20 cent progressive jackpot will be higher than the $1.00 progressive jackpot.
Caribbean Stud is played with standard 52-card deck, and hands start with a player making an ante bet. 5 Cards are dealt to the player and 5 cards are dealt to the dealer, one of which is face up for the player to see. The player then decides if they’d like to stay in the hand of not. If they do, they must make a bet 2 times the size of the ante. They do have the option to fold and then surrender the ante.
When a player stays in the hand, they’ll win a bet equal to the size of the ante if the dealer does not qualify. If the dealer has Ace-King high or better, this is considered a qualified hand, and now the players hand must be better than the dealers to win the bet. If the dealer qualifies and the players hand is better, they are paid their ante at even money and their bet based on the following payouts:
